In light of Black History Month, I wanted to share Black-owned cannabis businesses with you. BHM is honoured during the shortest month of the year, although its history impacts us daily. If Cannabis history is Black History, why aren't we speaking more about it on a regular basis, especially in the cannabis industry? This month, dedicate time and energy to learn about the battles and successes of historic Black leaders, past and present, and how they have and continue to shape the world we live in today.

Not sure where to start? Create yourself a library of works by Black authors, artists, and creatives to better gain knowledge from their perspectives. Share the information you learn with family, friends, and other's in your community. Be conscious of the accounts you follow and interact with daily. Donate to a Black organization or charity. Shop Black-Owned businesses! Thrive to learn about Black people’s experiences with oppression and lack of social equity all year round
